As many of you know, I am the weekend meteorologist at WTVA-TV in
Tupelo, MS.
I took the job because it was a very good opportunity for my family and

Treat me well and I am very happy. At first, I thought this is going to
be great for Lately David because I am only an hour away from Hernando.
Then reality started to set in. The keyword for everything is WEEKEND
Meteorologist. You cannot play gigs and rehearse on the weekends, if
you have to work every weekend. I have been racking my brain over the
past few months, trying to figure out a way to make the situation work. To

And simple, it cannot be done. Believe it or not, knowing that I will
not be able to be a part of Lately David anymore is one of the hardest
things I have had to deal with in my life. No matter what happens in the
future, Lately David will always be a part of me. For anyone that knew
me very well, including Danny and Tommy, knew that I believed in
Everything we did together. I will always be one of our biggest fans. I
have heard it said before and I read it on Tommy’s blog a few days ago,
Lately David is much bigger than just the trio. Lately David will
pretty much rock on forever in some way or fashion. There
Are friendships and very personal relationships between us three that
will never be forgotten. We probably know each other better than anyone
else knows us. I know that
The band has already started to move on with a new drummer just getting
started. I think
That is absolutely great and I wish them all the luck and success in

All of our fans that have supported Lately David over the past six
years and I hope you fans will continue to support in the future. I just
felt that I needed to write this entry on the website so that everyone
will know how I feel. Danny, Tommy, and everyone involved with Lately
David, I love you and keep on rockin!
